In terms of scale, quality, and originality, it is considered an unparalleled artistic achievement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Criterion (ii)<\/strong>This refers to the significant exchanges that took place in architecture, technology, and monumental art over a certain period. From the late 17th to the late 18th century, &quot;mini Versailles&quot; sprang up throughout Europe, becoming models for royal palaces and gardens.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Criteria (vi)<\/strong>: It is directly linked to events and living traditions of outstanding universal value. Beyond its historical significance as the stage for countless events, its overwhelming splendor and magnificence are simply breathtaking.<\/p>\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n\t\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"aioseo-\">Trianon and Marie Antoinette<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the palace grounds, there are private spaces for the royal family.<strong>Grand Trianon<\/strong>and<strong>Petit Trianon<\/strong>There is the Petit Trianon in particular, a place that Marie Antoinette loved, and nearby is the &quot;<strong>Queen&#039;s Village<\/strong>There is also the &quot;Hameau de la Reine,&quot; which is popular as a relaxing space, in contrast to the opulence of the palace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"aioseo-\">What to see at the Palace of Versailles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"aioseo-\">Main rooms inside the palace<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In the royal bedroom, the queen&#039;s bedroom, and other rooms that retain the decorations of each era, you can imagine the lives of Louis XIV, XV, and XVI and their queens. Includes priority entry at a designated time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Trianon Estate<\/strong>Trianon Palace and the Queen&#039;s Hamlet only. During peak seasons, we strongly recommend purchasing tickets online in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"aioseo-\">Access to the Palace of Versailles and tickets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"aioseo-\">Access from Paris<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>RER C<\/strong>Get off at &quot;Versailles Ch\u00e2teau \u2013 Rive Gauche&quot; station, and it&#039;s about a 10-minute walk from the station to the palace. This is the most common route.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>SNCF<\/strong>From Montparnasse station to Versailles Chantiers station, or from Saint-Lazare station to Versailles Rive Droite station. In either case, it&#039;s about a 15-18 minute walk from the station to the palace.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>bus<\/strong>From Pont de S\u00e8vres, take bus number 171, etc. If traveling by car, take the A13 to the &quot;Versailles Centre&quot; exit. After payment, print the ticket that will be sent to you by email or bring it with you on your smartphone. It is relatively uncrowded right after opening, just before closing, and on weekdays, but it gets crowded on weekends, holidays, and school breaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"aioseo-\">Sightseeing tips and points to note<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"aioseo-\">Avoid crowds<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Arriving 30 minutes before opening time and being among the first to enter will ensure a smooth experience. Since many Parisian museums, including the Louvre, are closed on Tuesdays, Versailles tends to be more crowded. If you want to enjoy the spring flowers or autumn foliage, you should plan on spending half a day to a full day there, including exploring the gardens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"aioseo-\">Palace etiquette<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Please do not touch the exhibits, and flash photography is prohibited. Food and drinks are only permitted in designated areas.
